The aim of this site is to help those already involved in task-based learning and teaching (TBLT) to extend their knowledge and skills. and to introduce as many new people as possible to TBL.

We have both been working in the TESOL field for over forty years, both TEFL and TESL. For most of that time we have been working on task-based approaches. If you want to know more about those forty years click here.

On the site you will find links to some of our publications – both books and articles. There are also links to our most recent conference presentations. But the best way to learn about TBLT is to do it. So we have included a number of lesson plans with a commentary on each one. We hope that as many teachers as possible will be able to download these and try them out in the classroom. We have also included links to other sites which take a look at TBLT.

Finally we have a description of the courses and consultancy services we can offer.

We hope to develop the site in a number of ways. We will update the publications and conference presentations and gradually add more downloadable lessons. If you have any further suggestions please contact us.
