The Macmillan site, Onstopenglish has two papers on to TBL one by Scott Thornbury and Philip Kerr and the other by Tim Bowen. These offer a short very readable introduction to the approach.

The BBC/British Council site teachingEnglish has a similarly useful paper by Richard Frost.

There is a more detailed discussion on the Council of Europe site, www.youth-knowledge, but the task given as an example here may be a bit ambitious for most classrooms.
